Assistant/Sous Chef needed
ASSISTANT/SOUS CHEF We are looking for a hard-working, all-rounder Assistant Chef to work alongside our Head Chef and become part of our small friendly team. You will work across all stations including pot wash, sandwiches, starters, desserts and mains. Your working week will be 40 hours with the availability for overtime. Shifts do vary from split to straight shifts and you must be prepared to work weekends as this is a must for hospitality sector. Key responsibilities: • Assist in helping with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, coordinate food production schedules and ensure highest level of food quality, taste and presentation. • Prepare food to a consistent standard and taste. • Work well under pressure during peak meal periods and complete orders for scheduled events. • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins. • Maintain effective communication within the kitchen; be responsive to suggestions, concerns and work to resolve problems. • Maintain effective working relationship with FOH personnel. • Ensure that the kitchen and fridges are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and that hygiene standards are maintained. Pay – negotiable dependent on experience. Will consider part time or full time applicants.

Assistant Manager We are looking for an confident Assistant Manager to join our team and work closely with FOH Manager and the owners. You will have bar experience and be able to manage an evening food service. Experience cashing up and closing down will be essential. Pay – negotiable dependent on experience. Hours 40 hours per week.
